The problem
Load growth had eroded the reserve on an ageing distribution network. Any single incomer outage would have taken production offline across several industrial tenants.

Our approach
A full load-flow and fault study established the true constraint, which proved to be protection discrimination rather than raw capacity. The design combined a new primary substation with reconfigured feeders and a corrected coordination scheme.

The outcome
Firm capacity restored with documented selectivity across the network, and maintenance now possible without an operational shutdown.
